Migration

The current form of the Migration Program has resulted from the Foundation's experience with supporting organizations engaged in immigrants support and immigrants counselling since 1996. In 2002 the Foundation initiated the establishment of a migration program run by a coalition of three non-profit organizations.
Though the Migration Program was initially designed for three years, it has nevertheless continued its support – albeit to a limited extent – and the Foundation has pursued cooperation with the same partners. The Program's current priorities include support for an information base – see the English website at www.migrationonline.cz - and some topical issues such as labour migration – legal and illegal – and the market of work agencies.
