The purpose of the seminar was to share good practices in ethnic data collection. Most of the countries which are part of the Decade of Roma Inclusion 2005 – 2005, do not collect ethnic data and lack of data makes it impossible to measure effectiveness of anti-discrimination policies.

The seminar was attended by 32 representatives (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Hungary, Montenegro, Macedonia, Germany and the Czech Republic. They discussed practical aspects of ethnic data collection and shared good practices.
