Perspectives for Development of Integration of People with Disabilities

The project was focused on exchanging experiences between professionals in the field of care of people with disabilities. TRIGON Association organized 18th year of European Days of Handicap in October 2010 which welcomed more than 80 participants from abroad. Nine of them (4 from Ukraine, 3 from Albania and 2 from Romania) attended the event thanks to the East East: Partnership Beyond Borders Program funding. Special part of the program was focused mainly on increasing quality of social services for disabled people, other possibilities of supporting adult people with autism and a presentation of sheltered workshops from abroad. The goal of the event was to exchange new experience, give example of good practice and develop cooperation between the participating organizations.
