Support and Protection Systems for Children at Risk in Kyrgyzstan and the Czech Republic

The Czech civic association Hyperaktivita – Institute for Study and Therapy of Hyperactive and Attention Disorders implemented the project in partnership with the Public Foundation Children´s Center "Moltur Koz" from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The partners exchanged information and experience in support and protection of children at risk and developed innovative methods of social, legal and psychological assistance to children and their families.

The project had two phases. Firstly, the Kyrgyz partner organized a seminar for 30 people in Kyrgyzstan which explained the social legal system of child protection in the Czech Republic and discussed the aspects of children and trauma. Secondly, the Czech partner organized a study visit for Kyrgyz team which presented concrete projects and social services for children at risk in the Czech Republic.
